Samantha Hardy is an artist and emerging author of Fiction and fantasy. A Whirlwind of Loss and Ruin is Samantha’s first book in the Loss and Ruin series, and the second will be published within the following year.

When it comes to her painting, Samantha is intrigued by the female figure and tends to create art that not only caters to that but tells a story. Like most of her art, Samantha has taken an interest in writing based on dreams she has by turning them into literary works of art for the reader to paint their own picture.

“For me, painting is more than just picking up a brush and slapping paint onto a canvas (although that can be fun and freeing in some cases.) A lot of the works that are created and even commissioned are based on emotionalism and feeling. What I know to be true is that art is therapy in its purest form. Some of the hardest lessons learned were handled through creating art and painting it out, so to speak. Art feeds the soul and strikes different chords within all of us. When it comes to my process, I find that it is constantly evolving, just like the world we live in, and now I get to write and create by using words. We never stop learning, and I find that the hunger for learning something new in the art world for me gets stronger every day. Life is a muse all in itself, and we are all artists in our own way.”

Born in sunny Arizona, Samantha now lives in the Pacific Northwest with her partner and her two small partners in crime, Bodhi and Jude (the loves of her life).
